Twelve day of Christmas with Eli, Zara and Ruvae.

 What did you learn, I learn new things about NewZealand even though I am from NZ I still learnt more things.

What did you enjoy, working with my friends and hanging out with them more. I wished there were more people working with us but only four people could do it in each group.

What was challenging, getting the font colour right and the font shape right. The teacher couldnt read out writing so we had to change things up a bit. We worked together to get it done and we finished on time.

What was easy, picking every background for the slides and getting the writing done in time.

What will you do next time, add more words and sentences because I feel lke one sentence is boring but I think we did enough. We took a long time to get this done but we got it doe in time.

Moment in time

What did you learn, I learnt that squirrels can jump from a high place and not get injured when they jump. When I watched the video I saw that the squirrel could jump from a high place and it didnt even get hurt or anything. I was surprised when I found out they could do that.

What did you enjoy, I enjoyed writing about what had happend in the video that me and my classmates had watched. I also liked how I learnt some new things today when I had watched the video.

What was challenging, getting everything done in time but I had finished in time and I didnt need to rush at all.

What was easy, writing every little detail about what had happend in the video and adding stuff to my slide that is down bellow.

What will you do next time, maybe add more writing if i could but I had wrote a lot already but I love writing I could try do that next time I write something like this.

Christmas

What did you learn, I learnt about how everyone else in my class celebrates christmas with their family.

What did you enjoy, making a letter for the Gisborne Herald about Christmas and everyone else doing one to in team toroa.

What was challenging, thinking about what to write about for my letter because I want my letter to be perfect. The gisborne Herald will be seiing me and my friends letters.

What was easy, finding and proping stuff for my title page for my letter that is going to be givin to the Gisborne Herald.

What will you do next time, write more and maybe write in a different way. So I could of like wrote a poem but I didnt I just wrote a peace of writing.

Fireworks

 What did you learn, I learnt about what guy fawkes had dne and how guy fawkes was made. I also learnt about fireworks and I watched a video on how they are packed and made. I liked it when I saw how they make it and how it was made in the first place.

What did you enjoy, I enjoyed making this "poem" about fireworks and bonfires .  I liked and loved making two pieces of writing and I also found it quite hard but easy to find a background for my pieces of writing.

What was challenging, mostly finding a background because I didnt know which one to pick. There was so many backgrounds I liked but I picked the right one I hope. I had so many backgrounds to choose from but I picked one in the end.

What was easy, just everything really but the most easiest thing I did was write. I didnt really know what to write about but I knew what I was going to write for each sentences.

What will you do next time, I will write better sentences next time and I will try to write way more then what I did. I will focus and try to write and do better sentences next time I do something like this again.

I wished

 We were learning about, I have no Idea what we were writing about but I think we were learning about how to write a good peace of writing about what you had done.

I found it easy to, write about what I wanted to do because I could remember what I really wanted to do on sunday and saturday.

I found it challenging to, think about what my paragraphs were going to be about because I had so much in my head about what I was going to write about but I didnt know what my paragraph were going to be so I just thought about what has happened.

Next time I will, write a lot more then what I did in this peace of writing because I think I could write a lot more but I didnt because I had to finish early and I didnt have enough time so I only wrote three paragraphs today. I bet if I had enough time I would of wrote more words and I would problably have five paragraphs.

Colours in Te reo

 What did you learn, I didnt really learn anything but I learnt some new colours in Te Reo that I didnt know about. 

What did you enjoy, I enjoyed making and teaching people colours in Te Reo because I even learnt some new colours in Te Reo. When I was making this it was quite intesting because the colours that I learnt I thought they were diferent words.

What was challenging, nothing really but something that was challenging for me was finding the maori words for the colours in Te Reo.

What was easy, just doing the background and typing the words because it was just very easy. I mostly knew all of the maori words for the colours but not all of the words for the colours in Te Reo.

What will you do next time, add more colours and describe the colours more in Te Reo and English.

Postcard

 What did you learn, I learnt that you shouldnt belive scams and trust things that you know are real. Make sure and check that things are real.

What did you enjoy, I enjoyed making a postcard of my "trip" that I had and saying stuff about my "trip". It was making me happy and I really enjoyed make it, I enjoy manaiakalani.

What was challenging, Trying to find a place to do for my postcard because I didnt know what to do. I found the perfect place for my background.

What was easy, writing about my "trip" that I had in paris and france because I knew what to do. I had done something like this before twice. I did it last year and this year twice so I have had experience on doing this postcard.

What will you do next time, think about what I am going to do before I do it and write a lot more if I could but I couldnt. My postcard didnt have enough writing space for me to write on. So thats why I couldnt write a lot on my postcard. If I had enough writing space on my postcard I would have writen a lot more.

Hawaii

What did you learn, I learnt how to scam but I will never scam someone in my life and I also learnt how to know if someone is scamming me. How I can tell if im safe online is looking if it has https or if it has a padlock and it is closed and not opened.

What did you enjoy, I enjoyed making a fake holiday trip and writing a postcard about it.

What was challenging to get the blog post finished in time givin.

What was easy making a fake holiday and writing fake stuff about it.

What will you do next time try to make it more realistic and try to make the stamp more realistic.

AMP show NZ

 My writing is about the AMP show, This is my recount for october 2020. Since I went to the AMP show and it was the best I decided I would write about the show. The show isnt a show like a tv show or a movie show its a carnaval where you play games and have yummy food. Hope you enjoy

Bird house

We were learning about Birds and how to be creative and making our own bird house or feeder in google drawings.

I found it easy to make a bird house because I had it in my head and was planing it all in my head. When I was making this I added some stuff in that I didnt have in my head. There is no door to the bird house but it looks like there is a door to my bird house.

I found it challenging to make this hole thing with polyline only ( This hole thing is with polyline only).

Next time I will make two bird houses instead of one bird house because I wanted to do bird houses.

birds

 We were learning about different types of birds and learning about what types of birds there are like a Native birds, Endemic birds and Introduced birds.

I found it easy to write about the topic I had to do on my google slide. I chose my slide even though I didnt know what it was about. I learnt what is was about though. I did the Endemic slide and I added a bird I made myself, and I used polyline to trace it. I used an image to trace the Endemic bird.

I found it challenging to finish on time because my friends had finished before me and I wanted to hurry up so I could play study ladder.

Next time I will maybe add more detail and moe polylined birds to my slide that I was working on and maybe add a good background. My background is plain because I was rushing and trying to finish my slide on time. I finished my slide in the time that was givin to me and my class mates.

Manuka Rangi and Papa.

 Our class was reading a book called the beginning and our teachers said that we should make an E book about the book. So this is what me and my cooperative group made about the book rangi and papa/The beginning.

Making a poi

 We were making poi's and it was my first time making one myself and it turned out goooodd. I hope you like my story and yes it is a true story I made a poi but I had a bit of help from my mum at school.

Next time I will try to show you my poi and post it on my blog I might do that in the school holidays when im at home on my chromebook, just saying I cant use a poi. Im bad at using poi's but my nana knows how to use them so she could teach me how to use poi's on day but she said to me im not that good anymore at using them poi's and then I started to laugh a bit. You want to know why I started to laugh a bit. Because she said im not good at using THEM poi's.

My Mythical Creature (2019)

We were learning about how to share with others my class website for 2019.

I found it easy to share my stuff in my class website with other people.

I found it hard to not talk when my friends and other people were around me talking to their friends.

I really enjoyed sharing my class website with other people and showing others my work.

Next time I need to maybe describe it more and add more information to my Peace so people know more about the class website.

My Writing smaple/The Enviroment is our responsibility.

 Today we were learning how to write persuasive writing about how the Enviroment is our resonsibility and we were trying to convince our writing teacher/Mrs Gomm that the Enviroment is our resonsibility. When I was searching thing about the plastic on google and kiddle I found some sad things about the sea animals.

When I write something like this again, I will try to have more writing and sentences in my next peace of writing I do about something persuasive.

Always put rubbish in the rubbish bin so it doesnt go in the ocean and kill sea animal or the animals in the wild.

I got some of my reasons and my ideas from the trips that I have gone on and I got some ideas from websites that you will see in my bibliography bellow.

When I first started persuasive writing I was pretty bad but I practiced and got better at it. This is problaby my best persuasive writing I have done so far this year. So I hope to get even better at persuasive writing next year and when I do it in like highschool I hope I get even better at writing a persuasive writing peace.

Podcast about netball with me and my buddy manaia

 We were learning about to write our own podcast wit our buddy from our coopertive group.

I found it easy to talk when it my part in my podcast well doing manaiakalani.

I found it challenging to talk a lot of words in my buddies podcast because I had to say so much words and to get my one finished because I hadnt finished my one in time. So I had to do it the next week which is this week and I finished it just in time.

Next time I will focus more and not talk to my buddy as much as i did doing this podcast oh and the podcast was about what our hobbies were.

Chinese New Year Report

We were learning about how to write reports properly and how to teach our family how to write reports.

I found it easy to write a report about the Chinese New Year and talking about their colture.

I found it challenging to get it posted on my blog on time because I was stressed and in a hurry.

Next time I will focus more on my work and try to get it posted on my blog on time.

We were learning about how to write persausive writing to convince people to ban milk from schools.

I found it easy to write persausive writing to make people want to ban school milk from school.

I found it challenging to write lots of writing to convince people to ban milk from schools but not all school.

I found it easy to make a scratch game on how to show people how to make there sprite talk and ask questions.

I found it challenging to talk about the thing I was going to teach you and focusing because my class mates were around me.

Next time I will add more stuff to my slide and video and maybe talk about more stuff on scratch.

I found it easy to write about my writing to get people to hop on my team for agreeing for plastic bottles to be a thing.

We were learning about how to write good writing with punction, verbs, adjetives and others.

I found it easy to write about a leaf I saw at waihirere and to write detail about the leaf.

I found it challenging to get the blog post and the writing done because I didnt know what to write about the leaf.

Next time I will Write a bit more about the green and yellow leaf and to decribe it more.

How to make your sprite charecter talk or ask question on scratch.

 We were learning about how to make a scratch game and how to teach people how to do stuff on scratch with screencastify.

I found it easy to make a video on how to teach there sprite talk and ask questions.

I found it challenging to explan things because I was messing up with the things I was saying.

Next time I will explan things more and to maybe teach people more things in one video on stratch.

My game is about how me and you get to know each other a bit more because I want to get to know people and im telling them that they shouldnt tell me anything personal about them because that would be bad for me to know.

Awapuni Fun Run!

We were learning about how to write full sentences and how to put punction in the right places and to put capitial letters in the right spot, also puting adverbs, verbs, nouns and all the other stuff on to our writing.

I found it easy to write full sentences and to focus on my work so I could finish on time.

I found it challenging to write my work down on a google doc and put it on a google slide in time because I was rushing a bit.

Next time I will be more focused and be more ready to write my writing because I was away for one day and I missed out on some writing.

We were learning about how to use voice typing and how to read faster and not slower.

I found it easy to use polyline because I have used it before and it was just really easy to get all the details.

I found it challenging to get it to look like the real thing that was in the book because I wanted it to stand out.

Next time I will add more stuff so it will look more good and not to make it all in the same place so its not crowded.

We were learning about how to write a proper comment on someones blog post to make the sentence more rich and nicer.

I found it easy to write the things that we need to do and what we dont need to do.

I found it challenging to get the picture of the blog logo and to get a rainbow border that I liked.

I found it easy to write my report in three days time and to teach some of my friend and family to write a report.

I found it challenging to post it on my blog on time because I was a bit stressed and a bit worried that I wouldnt get it posted on my blog on time.

Hi my name is Sophie and I love to play netball and surfing. I love to eat food and fruit. My dog Chico is really fun to play with and he is the cutest dog on Earth. I love going to school and I love reading because it's one of the things that I'm really good at and I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family & playing together and playing games. One of my goals for this year is to learn more times tables cause I'm not that good at timetables and I really like to learn more.
